Raising thousands of pounds for major causes, and being recognised for the amazing work you do at staff socials and breakfast clubs.
Friendly, professional, enjoyable

I have worked in the company overall for around 7-8 years. I started as a fundraiser and now I am a recruiter. I like that there are real progression opportunities in the company as well as all the staffs being friendly & helpful.
Ensuring that I represent the company in a positive light to applicants, and that we have a steady stream of new staff at all time.
Ethical, caring, friendly

The vibrant and colourful people who work here and make a difference.
As a Recruiter, finding lots of those vibrant and colourful people!
We offer great rates of pay, a chance to really make a difference and opportunities to grow and develop as Fundraisers into Team Leaders, Managers and in roles in other departments too.

We are the industry leaders!
Finding the time to do everything that needs to be done.
Professional, approachable, fun.
The working hours as well as the schedule flexibility. The promotion opportunities. The ability to gain regular income whilst still in education.
Working outdoors, the weather can be challenging sometimes. It is also very important to manage your relationships.
Welcoming and useful.
Pete - Liverpool
I like that here I can truly be myself and bring my whole self to work, rather than feeling like I have to be a complete different person during work time.
Also I get to see places I would never normally get to see. Learn about issues I care about and truly make a difference by raising vital funds.
None if I am being honest.
Amazing, honest, loyal.

The sense of achievement almost every day, achieving your own goals and helping others achieve theirs.
The skewed perception of fundraising from the outside can definitely taint the amazing things we do, but when you’ve inspired someone to donate to a charity out of the goodness of their heart it’s hard to think anything but amazing things about what we do.
DO IT, it will change your life.

My first sign-up. I remember thinking: "I've just helped change someone's life. I want to keep on doing this!"
The sense of privilege and pride at being involved in something worthwhile.
If you like a challenge, and you'd like to help make the world a better place, HOME is definitely the place for you!

When I received my fundraiser footprint award, even though I had progressed and was working in the London regional office at the time. It was a tangible reminder of what my hard work as a fundraisier had achieved and how much I had raised in the two months I had worked as a fundraiser.
I love learning about the charities we represent and what they do. It reminds me that beyond the daily tasks, KPIs and statistics, there are actual people (including a loved one) or in some cases animals that are benefitting from our work and that we are contributing to make this world a better place... as cheesy as that may sound!
Fundraising is not an easy job, you definitely need to have a passion for it. But if you do decide to work for HOME, I can guarantee you will achieve a level of gratification you will not find elsewhere; I have never worked for a company that encourages progression as much as HOME, and if you are looking to make a soul-fulfilling career out of a fundraising job, this is a place to be.
